Township Picnic Thank YOUs!

The 2011 Turtle Lake Township Picnic was a grand success this year with about 90 attendees. Many prizes were given out including a custom made fishing rod with reel donated by Land Use Supervisor Gary Lockner. Hot dogs and brats were perfectly cooked by Supervisor Al Lidstrom and many delicious dishes were shared by current and past Township neighbors. Special thanks go to Don and Suzanne Thomas of Buena Vista Ski area, John Dickinson, Wayne Peterson (who entertained some very ambitious kids and adults with some fun games) and our Treasurer Gail Dockendorf who insured there were a lot of fun prizes to give away! We hope everyone had a good time and hope we can have even more attendees next year!

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY FROM SNOW PLOWING ACTIVITIES

Turtle Lake Township wants residents to know that while efforts are made not to damage property in the process of plowing and removing snow, sometimes it will occur to mailboxes or other items put up near the road. Turtle Lake Township is not responsible and will not be held liable for damages caused by snow movement. If the damage is caused by actual impact with the snowplow or grader blade, Turtle Lake Township is liable.
