NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Turtle Lake Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Turtle Lake Town Hall, 19143 Lake Julia Drive NW, Bemidji, MN 566011. The purpose of the public hearing is to hear from the public, discuss, and to take action on a recommendation to the Town Board regarding an application made by the Beltrami County Highway Department for a conditional use permit to operate a granular borrow pit on property owned by the State of Minnesota, In Trust (PID’s 470039100 and 470040200) located at or near Island View Drive NE in Section 25 of Turtle Lake Township. The requested conditional use permit is for operation of a granular borrow pit as part of the reconstruction of CSAH 22. Interested persons are welcome to attend the hearing to be heard regarding this matter. Anyone with questions or comments are also encouraged to provide comments with regard to the proposed conditional use permit by contacting the Town Clerk prior to the hearing.
